Description
The Government would like to solicit this 100% Small Business Set-Aside requirement: Six (6) explosion proof scissor lifts shall meet the following requirements: - The explosion proof scissor lifts shall be 3 rd Party (such as Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Factory -Mutual (FM)) certified for use in a Class I, Division I Hazardous environme - The scissor lifts shall be battery operated. - The batteries shall have a continuous use of a minimum eight (8) hours. - The scissor lifts shall have OSHA certified fall arrest systems attached to the platform of the lift that shall allow personnel to safely perform task outside of the platform. - The contractor shall provide a standard 120V plug for charging the explosion proof scissor lifts. - The scissor lifts shall be capable of supporting a minimum of two persons with tools. (Minimum 600 lbs.) - The scissor lifts shall be equipped with a compressed airline to support the operation of tools (paint guns, sanders, HEPA vacuum equipment, etc.). - The scissor lifts shall be capable of reaching a minimum height of 30 feet vertically. - The scissor lifts shall have an extendable platform to allow more surface area coverage. - The scissor lifts shall be used in hazardous wet locations and all enclosures shall adhere to NEMA requirements. - The scissor lifts shall have padded rails to help minimize damage to any object that the platform rail may contact. - The scissor lifts shall have a collision avoidance system that will prevent or minimize damage to when the scissor lift comes in contact with an aircraft. This is a synopsis (pre-solicitation). Pages 8 to 22 of 50 -- Provide the necessary information for FAR Clause 52.212-3. 5. Pages 33 of 50 -- Provide the necessary information for FAR Clause 52.225-18. 6. Page 35 of 50 -- Provide the necessary information for DFARS Clause 252.209-7991(b). 7.
