- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.8, Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program). The anticipated award will be made to an Alaska Native Corporation. The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) (Provisional), Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5074 intends to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) with Firm Fixed Price Task Orders, on a sole source basis to: Teya Services, LLC 101 East 9th Avenue, Suite 9B Anchorage, Alaska 99501 This contract will provide healthcare housekeeping services at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) and multiple Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the Health Services Area of Fort Hood, TX, currently provided by Apex Limited, Inc. under contract, W81K04-15-D-0016. The anticipated contract will be for a five-year period, from 27 May 2016 through 26 May 2021. The HRCO(P) intends to negotiate only with Teya Services, LLC under the authority of 15 U.S.C. 637(a). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within three (3) days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract requirement, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
