- (11) A. Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. REQUIREMENTS Mycronic Equipment Software and Hardware Upgrades and Service Maintenance The Government requires upgrades and services to be performed to the Government-owned MyData, MY500 and Pick & Place MY9e equipment located in Building 517 of the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. The Contractor shall update the software, computer controller, and camera on the MyData Equipment in order to bring it up to compliance with standard operating procedures. The Contractor shall replace/upgrade the Mycronic Equipment with the following software/hardware so that it is up to date, in compliance and fully operational: MYLabel 5 Upgrade from MYLabel 4.x MYCenter 2 MH Upgrade from MYLabel 5 MYCenter 3 MH Upgrade from MYCenter 2 MH JPSYS 1.9 Upgrade Kit JP Offline 1.9 Upgrade Kit TPSYS 3.2 Software Upgrade for MY Series AT-CPU2 PF4 with CP5 LVS3 Illumination upgrade - one (1) camera Travel: The Contractor shall travel to the ARL site in APG, Maryland to upgrade and service the Mycronic Equipment: MyData, MY500 and Pick & Place MY9e so that the software is up to date, computer controller is upgraded, camera is upgraded and all Mycronic equipment is fully operational. Travel should take no more than three (3) days. C. Responses: All interested parties should notify this office by e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include: (I) To what extent each of the specifications can be met. (II) Include your type of business (i.e. commercial, academia), whether your organization is classified as a large or small business based on the 750 employee size standard that accompanies NAICS code 334418. If a small business, you must also list any small disadvantaged status you hold [HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), etc.]. (III) Past experience/ performance through the description of completed projects. (12) Responses to this sources sought synopsis are due no later than 11:59 AM eastern standard time 10 May 2016.
