Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City office intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with C C Lynch and Associates Inc. for (12) Logosense Controller Boards for ASOS All Weather Precipitation Accumulation Gauge (AWPAG) for the NOAA National Weather Service Office of Operational Systems located in Silver Spring, MD. A Sources Sought notice was posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on April 19, 2016 and closed on May 02, 2016. No responses were received. Justification for Sole Source The spare assembly being purchased is manufactured solely by C C Lynch and Associates Inc. located in Pass Christian, MS and is the only source of this part due to the proprietary nature of this product. All logistical spares for the ASOS All Weather Precipitation Accumulation Gauge (AWPAG) are required to be identical to the item that was provided with the original equipment.
