- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number is N68836-16-T-0212. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-78 and. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. THE FLEET LOGISTIC CENTER JACKSONVILLE KINGS BAY DETACHMENT request responses from qualified sources capable of providing the required material. Method of Payment is via WAWF. Item# 001 1) Accommodation Ladder with the following: a) Heavy duty structural beam design in 6061-T6 aluminum construction, 17in nominal length, Design load of 165 lbs per every tread, b) 24in usable width with feathering treads. c) Two(2) coarse fixed handrails with stanchions and aluminum pipe rails. d) Lower platform hinge connection. Upper gunnel clip. e) Four(4) lifting padeyes and necessary stowage padeyes. f) Max Inclination of the ladder is 55 degrees below horizontal. 2) Rail System and Lower Platform cart assembly complete with the following: a) Dock frame rail31ft constructed of ASTM A-36 steel, galvanized. b) Rolling frame cart assembly constructed of ASTM A-36 steel, painted per SA Marine Epoxy System. 3) Design assistance, detailed general arrangement drawings and technical manuals. Item# 002 Freight Delivered to Kings Bay, GA A no-cost site visit may be available upon request.
