- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single contract to Telephonics Corporation., 815 Broad Hollow Road, Tustin, Farmingdale, NY, 11735. The Federal Aviation Administration, Product Services Division (AML-4060) has a requirement for the repairs. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. The proposed NAICs code for this acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $20.5 million. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
