- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to Strategic Operational Solution, Inc. 8391 Old Courthouse Road, Vienna Virginia 22182 in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a) (1)) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.8, and the executed Partnership Agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and U.S. Department of the Army SBA for the biometric standards and software engineering support for biometric standards compliance evaluations and software engineering oversight required by the Biometric Identity Management Agency (BIMA). The resultant contract shall be awarded as Five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The maximum contract ceiling value is $2,479,268.03. The applicable NAICS for this effort is: 541511 "Custom Computer Programming Services". The contractor shall provide biometric subject matter expertise, software engineering expertise, and software testing support. To accomplish this mission support the Armament Software Engineering Center (SEC) team requires contractor support to provide high quality post production services. Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government anticipates an RFP to be posted to the FedBizOpps https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 19 May 2016. The proposal submission date will be thirty (30) days after issuance of the RFP.
