- Naval Enterprise Networks Program Office$B!G(Bs (PMW 205) Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Re$B!>(Bcompete Industry Day II NGEN Re-compete Industry Day II will be held on 25 May 2016 at the Sheraton Tysons Hotel, Tysons, Virginia, 22812. The first NGEN Re-compete Industry Day was held on 17 November 2015. An agenda and other information for Industry Day II will be posted at this site no later than 13 May 2016. Industry attendees should register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/industry-day-ii-tickets-24568453907; Government employees (both civilian and military) should register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/industry-day-ii-government-registration-tickets-245 69636444. The deadline for registration is 19 May 2016, 1600 EDT. Organizations are limited to three (3) attendees, and each individual must register; no group registrations are permitted. In the event Industry Day II is over or under subscribed, the Government reserves the right to adjust participation limits. In the morning, Industry Day II will feature the Department of Navy$B!G(Bs refinement of the preliminary NGEN Re-compete acquisition strategy presented at Industry Day I. The results of customer, stakeholder, and industry engagements since the last Industry Day will be discussed including how they have influenced the NGEN re-compete acquisition strategy, particularly the first of the planned follow-on contracts, End-user Hardware. Other topics may include the Navy$B!G(Bs and USMC$B!G(Bs current view of the NGEN Re-compete service portfolio and service model, the Government$B!G(Bs ordering tool, as well as network transformation activities. The afternoon session will feature direct, small group interactions between Navy/USMC re-compete leadership and industry participants. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) OR OBLIGATION TO ISSUE A FUTURE RFP. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS, AND THIS ANNOUNCEMENT DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLIES OR SERVICES. Future RFPs, if released, will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) and SPAWAR E-Commerce Central website: https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil/.
