Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 2 Network Contracting Office (NCO), plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition an Network Fleet Telematics Services award as a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS code is 339113 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is Vicon Motion Systems, Inc. DBA Vicon 7388 S. Revere Parkway, Suite 901 Centennial, CO 80112. Requested items consist of: 1.The Vehicle Fleet Management Information System will provide a fully-integrated solution for managing motor pool reservations, mileage/trip reporting, driver qualifications, fuel use capture and integration, utilization, unscheduled and preventative maintenance, inspections, global positioning system (GPS) integration, vehicle inventory, and asset costs. OAEM will select and designate a single, centralized official VA database system for collection, storage and analysis of VA motor vehicle data. It will be mandatory for VA organizations to enter certain required data into this system. Administrations may use a different system internally; however, required information must be exported or entered into the official VA system. OAEM will notify VA organization Fleet Managers when the official VA system is in place (pg. 13). 2.The current hardware installed on the fleet vehicles are Network Fleet (Verizon) parts installed last year. Any services offered must be compatible with this equipment The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration on this requirement. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, Dun & Bradstreet number, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement. Submit capability packages no later than May 19, 2016 14:00 PM, EST by email to: Anthony.Murray2@va.gov If capability package from one or more vendor is deemed suitable for possible source to provide for requirement then a solicitation will follow.
