This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed under FAR 13.1, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA259-16-Q-0303 and is issued as a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations supplement (VAAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation is issued as 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214, and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement consists of the following: THIS IS A "BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TOO" REQUIREMENT. THE BRAND NAME IS "ALLSTEEL". PLEASE PROVIDE ALL DOCUMENTATION/PICTURES AND INFORMATION NEEDED TO SHOW FURNITURE IS EQUAL TO WHAT IS BEING REQUESTED, IF NOT BRAND NAME. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL ALSO INCLUDE "INSTALLATION AND SETUP". VA WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MASTER KEY FOR ALL THE LOCKED DRAWERS WITH EACH OFFICE HAVING DIFFERENT LOCKS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR ITEMS NEEDED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. PRICING WILL BE ADDED ON THE DOCUMENTS. THERE WILL BE TWO LINE ITEMS: LINE ITEM 1 WILL BE FOR "EXISTING FURNITURE REPLACEMENT" AND THE DELIVERY WILL BE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. LINE ITEM 2 WILL BE FOR "REMODELING FURNTURE" AND THE DELIVERY WILL BE SOMETIME IN AUGUST 2016. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - commercial Items, apply to this solicitation with the following addenda, VAAR 852.237-70 Contractor Responsibilities 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items: FAR provision 52.212-2 applies to this solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price single contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer that conforms to all solicitation requirements.
