- Amendment 10 5/3/2016: The proposal due date is hereby extended until 4 pm local time on Friday May 6, 2016. Another amendment will be posted by noon Wednesday May 4, 2016, to include information regarding the safety rep. Amendment 9 4/25/2016: Final posting of Questions and Answers. Amendment 8 4/22/2016: Additional Questions and Answers posted, as well as three documents relating to the questions and answers. We are allowing questions related to the Answers posted to date to be submitted in writing thru 4 PM local time on Monday April 25, 2016. Please note, questions that are NOT related to the ANSWERS posted to date will not be entertained. The proposal due date is being extended and is now 4 PM, local time on Wednesday May 4, 2016. Amendment 7 4/20/2016: A second set of questions and answers is being posted. An updated SIR is being attached, which includes corrected Security information under Part I, Section H.2 CONTRACTOR ACCESS AND USE OF PREMISES. Amendment 6 4/19/2016: All references to Past Experience are updated to read Past Performance. All past performance references must be within the past five (5) years of the posting of this requirement. A final version of the SIR, with all amendment changes made therein, will be posted at the close of the question & answer period. Amendment 5 4/18/2016: Questions and Answers to date are attached. Amendment 4 4/14/2016: Part I, Section F.1 is hereby corrected to omit reference to 120 days and replace with 180 days. Amendment 3 4/13/2016- add Past Performance Worksheet and Payment Bond Form; Correct dollar value range estimate. Amendment 2 4/13/2016, issued to include updated SIR and all SIR attachments. AMENDMENT 1 4/6/16: SPECS and DRAWINGS will be distributed at the mandatory site visit. The Federal Aviation Administration, William J. Hughes Technical Center, has a construction requirement for a laboratory addition to building 158. The specifics are attached in the draft SIR DTFACT-16-R-00047, which is attached hereto. A final SIR with any necessary changes will be distributed on the afternoon of the mandatory site visit (or as shortly thereafter as possible), which will take place at 9 am, local time, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. To register for the mandatory site visit, please send the name and an email address for a maximum of two (2) individuals from your company by 12 PM noon, local time, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 to Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov; please put SITE VISIT in the subject line of the email. This requirement is to allow the FAA time to schedule the appropriate busing from the Security Operations Center (SOC) to the site and to provide the Technical Center ™s Security Personnel with an advance notice of who will be coming. All attendees must be present at the SOC by 8:45 am to be included in the site visit. This requirement is set aside for small businesses (required to complete at least 25% of the work). The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $36.5 million. The estimated dollar value of this requirement is between $800,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer @ Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov by 4 PM local time on April 20, 2016, as stated in Section L.3 of the SIR. SIR attachments, including drawings and specs will be distributed at the mandatory site visit. No phone calls, please.
