- Sources Sought Announcement The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking potential sources under the proposed NAICS Code 811219 (Measuring instrument repair and maintenance services) who have the capability to provide the following requirements: Calibration, Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service on the following equipment. 1. Noran System 7 Advanced Spectral Imaging System. 2. EDS DETECTOR NanoTrace JEOL JCM-5700 Thermo Electron North America is the manufacturer and has proprietary rights to the equipment. Contractor must be able to acquire OEM parts, software for updates and license from the manufacturer. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 811219. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a RFQ may be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. Interested sources may submit their capabilities and qualifications via email to: Rex M, Valdez @ rex.m.valdez2.civ@mail.mil on or before 13 May 2016 @ 4:00PM EST with the following information: 1. Company name. 2. Capability Statement (highly encouraged) 3. SAM Cage Code. 4. Point of Contact name telephone & email. 5. Small business size standard in relation to NAICS code 811219. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified propriety information of the submission of the contractor's information.
