Description

Quotation to include: 1. Scanning original documents as described below. 2. Save as.pdf format based on folder break. 3. Process Optical Character Recognition (OCR). 4. Save one copy of the record in.pdf format on each of TWO supplied external drives (tocreate two duplicate external hard drives). Scanning: Scan approximately 1,500,000 pages. Most pages (estimated 85%) are 8-1/2 X 11" sizeddocuments, some (estimated 10%) are 8-1/2 x 14" and 11 X 17" sized documents. It isestimated that 5% of the documents are oversized drawing (36x48 or larger). All files must bekept in the same order as furnished. Contractor must reassemble the originals as found. SCANNING DATA SPECIFICATIONS  Scan documents 300dpi, save as.pdf. - Black and white originals shall be scanned as black and white - Color originals shall be scanned as color. - Original documents are a mix of single and double-sided pages. - First page of the.pdf file shall be a scan of the folder cover, including the folder label. Process for OCR.  File name for.pdf is to be same as folder labeling (e.g. LRH-2016-0928-SCR).  All scans are to be at same size as originals. All scans are to be saved on Government supplied external hard drives.
