- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Midwest Region Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation to install/construct and connect 2 RV trailer pad septic waste lines to an existing tank/drain field at Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway. This project is meant to reduce commercial plumbing costs and water usage by utilizing a nearby septic/drain field treatment system rather than commercially pumping a holding tank. This procurement is 100% Small Business set-aside Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price NAICS: 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors). The small business standard is $15 M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(c) the Project Magnitude is less than $25,000. One (1) firm-fixed contract will be awarded on a best value basis. Contract Period of Performance: 30 calendar days Site Visit: Site Visit information will be in the posted solicitation. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about May 23, 2016 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov/). This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
