- Solicitation No. R16PS00118: Steinaker Service Canal Materials DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE: The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for supplying the materials for the Steinaker Service Canal project which is being constructed by the Uintah Water Conservancy District. The Uintah Water Conservancy District (UWCD) desires to enclose the Steinaker Service Canal in a pressurized pipeline in order to conserve water lost to seepage and evaporation to increase operational efficiencies. The Steinaker Service Canal Materials contractor will supply and deliver functional products to the jobsite. The requirement includes, but is not limited to: 1.Fabricating or otherwise acquiring the products. 2.Coating, as necessary. 3.Transporting the product to the jobsite. COMPETITION: Solicitation R16PS00118 is anticipated to be a small business set-aside and will result in a firm fixed price supply contract. The requirement shall be procured in accordance with Subparts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this procurement is 326122 with a small business size standard of 750 Employees. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for Solicitation No. R16PS00118 is May 6, 2016. The anticipated Quote due date is May 26, 2016 at 14:00 hours local time (MDT). The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, www.fedconnect.net. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers, etc. as the Government will not be providing any other methods of information dissemination. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM, www.sam.gov): The System for Award Management (SAM) is a recently implemented Federal Government owned-and-operated FREE web site that consolidates the capabilities in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/Federal Register (FedReg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). This notice is strictly for compliance with FAR Subpart 5.2. As a result of this Notice, the Government may issue a competitive solicitation; however, should such requirements materialize, no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to the Notice (e.g. use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement).
