- USDA Sole Source Notice for Luminex Salmonellla Serotyping Assay catalog # AGSSA4502 for the use at USDA APHIS NVSL in Ames, IA The USDA National Veterinary Science Laboratories in Ames, IA, intend to award a purchase order for 45 Luminex Salmonellla Serotyping Assay catalog # AGSSA4502, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (b), with Luminex Corporation, Austin, Texas. This purchase will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The sole source determination is based on Luminex Corporation being the sole source for providing this product to be used in the Luminex 200 system. This is not a request for quote. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Officer listed below. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can obtain/provide a Luminex catalog # AGSSA4502 xMAP Salmonella Serotyping Assay. Responses must be submitted electronically, via email, to sara.l.matchie@aphis.usda.gov. The deadline for the submittal of responses is 10:00 am central time, May 10, 2016.
