- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to renovate the interior of the bookstore within Castillo de San Marcos National Monument located St Augustine, FL on or about May 12, 2016. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P16PS01147. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5M. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10:30am (ET) at St Augustine. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Thursday, June 2, 2016 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the beginning of June 2016. Note: Service Contract Act prevailing wages for the St Johns county, St Augustine, Florida will apply. The Government will award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about Thursday, May 12, 2016. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available but all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
