- The solicitation for this project will be posted on or about 17 May 2016 on FBO.gov under the same solicitation number. This project specifies the following work: The construction site is located within the Training Area Grafenwoehr. - Disassembly of the existing medium voltage and low voltage installation devices inside of the old transformer station 302, Building # 3027, Camp Normandy consisting of: 1 each existing oil transformer 640 kVA, 1 each existing medium-voltage switching system, consisting of 4 each medium-voltage cells 1 each existing low-voltage switching system, h x w x d = 2.0 m x 3.0 m x 0.9 m 1 each existing transformer compensation 30 kVar Disassemble all existing metal structures. Removal of all existing medium voltage cables, low voltage cables and EMCS cables and/or rerouting into the new station. Removal of the existing asbestos-containing stud partitions. - Demolish the existing transformer building with cable vault - dimensions: h x w x d = 3 m x 6 m x 3 m - Backfill the construction pit (top course: gravel layer). - Construction of a new transformer building with cable vault and gable roof, roof slope 30 degrees. Size of building: appox. 9.80 m x 3.0 m, clear height 2.60 m, consisting of: 1 each transformer room 1 for transformer 20kV/400V up to 630 kVA, 1 each transformer room 2 for reserve, 1 each joint medium-voltage and low-voltage switching room, cable vault of reinforced concrete, dimensions: 1 x w x h = 9.8 m x 3.0 m, 0.90 m high - Installation of a medium-voltage switching system 24 kV, consisting of: 1 each 24 kV transformer control panel, 2 each 24 kV unfused cable control panels, 2 each 24 kV fused cable control panels 1 each 20 kV oil transformer 630 kVA - Installation of a low-voltage switching system 400 v, consisting of: 1 each transformer circuit breaker 1250 A 1 each busbar system 2000 A 4 each fuse load isolating bars 630 A 12 each fuse load isolating bars 400 A 6 each fuse load isolating bars 160 A - 1 each cross connection box (EMCS) as floor-standing cabinet - 1 each floor-standing distribution box for street lighting Relocate and extend the existing medium-voltage and low-voltage cables from the old station # 302 into the new transformer station # 302 Place a multiplex cable protection pipe from the existing 3IMP shaft up to the cable vault of the new transformer station # 302 Relocate and extend the existing EMCS bus cable from the old station # 302 into the new transformer station # 302. - Earch work: - Perform earth work in the area of the new transformer station. - Provide a construction pit for the new transformer station with cable vault. - Provide strip foundations for the new transformer station. - Provide an access road to the new transformer station. - Reinforce the access road with grass paving blocks. - Backfill the construction pit resulting from the old dismounted transformer station using the excavated soil of the new transformer station. Clearing of trees and bushes in the area of the new transformer station. Restore the adjacent lawn surfaces.
