- This project is set-aside for total small businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 237310, Construction of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways. The small business size standard is no greater than $36.5M in average annual receipts. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet the total small Business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the Small Business Program. Description: This project consists of reconstructing McClain Road including roadside brushing to the top of the backslope and the toe of the fillslope, grading and compacting the full length of the road, ripping and re-laying and compacting designated segments of the road, reconstructing and constructing rolling dips and leadoff ditches, reconstructing roadside ditches, removal and replacement of two culverts, constructing low water crossings, then applying 0.33'd x 14'w x 10,191'l of ¾" minus aggregate surface course. The NAICS code for this project is 237310. The small business size standard is no greater than 36.5 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both total small business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the Total Small Business program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). The estimated period of performance is 60 days. The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Location: From Calif. Hwy. 49 at its intersection with Yuba County's Marysville Road, proceed North on Hwy. 49 for approximately 5.40 miles to its intersection with Yuba County's Y-120 Pendola Extension Road, turn left onto Pendola Extension Road and proceed ahead for approximately 5.90 miles to its intersections with Yuba County's Y-125 Garden Valley Road, turn right onto Garden Valley Road and proceed ahead for approximately 1.40 miles to its intersection with Yuba County's Y-124 McClain Road, turn right onto McClain Road. The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately May 19, 2016. The date of award is expected to be within 30 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 and 36.213-2 requirements. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
