- Request for Information / Notice of Intent to Sole Source This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is also issued as prescribed by DFARS 13.501. Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command, San Diego CA, 92155 intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement for Target Systems, including spare and repair parts. These items are proprietary to and only available through ATA Defense Industries. The equipment will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332994 – Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees. THIS RFI / NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Any interested parties must provide information on their company capability and business size status in writing via e-mail to warcom.contracts@navsoc.socom.mil no later than 5:00 pm, Pacific, on 11 May 16. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to ATA Defense Industries.
