Also, this amendment updates the POC information. The POC is Mr. John Burkhardt, Code 0242, at telephone (812)-854-8879, or email: john.e.burkhardt@navy.mil Original Synopsis: Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane has a requirement for a non-commercial, competitive procurement for various build-to-print machine shop requirements in support of the ALE-47 countermeasures dispensing set. The Government anticipates awarding multiple 5-year IDIQ type contracts with an option for 5 additional years to multiple vendors in accordance with FAR 16.5. The contract will have a minimum contract amount of $5,000. The maximum amount to be awarded across all contracts will be $10,000,000 over the 10-year contract period. Two delivery orders will be solicited in the initial solicitation and utilized to determine who will receive award of the basic contracts. The two delivery orders will include a contract line item for first articles and a contract line item for production units. The award decision will be based on technical go/no go, past performance, and price. Technical go/no go will be evaluated on the Contractors ability to propose on both delivery orders and technical information that is required by the solicitation; past performance will be evaluated on the Contractors ability to demonstrate past experience on similar requirements. Delivery requirements will be in accordance with the delivery terms outlined in each individual delivery order. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC-Crane, Crane, IN 47522-5000. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Note: This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. THIS SOLICITATION WAS ORIGINALLY SYNOPSIZED AS N00164-09-R-WR19 ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2009. Explicit access of drawings for the delivery orders included in the solicitation will be available at FedBizOpps.
