Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-12-124: Renovate 3 East for Specialty Clinics at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). Contractor shall provide and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, and qualified supervision to renovate the 3rd Floor East at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The project includes the renovation of approximately 8,500 square feet of existing space in the basement, approximately 1,000 square foot addition to the basement level, and the renovation of approximately 4,470 square feet to the 3rd Floor. The scope of work includes architectural, site, structural, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other aspects of construction. Time for completion is 490 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about May 20th, 2016, with the bid opening on/about June 22nd, 2016. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
