- Blank form DD2345. Please submit completed form to tara.e.henderson2.civ@mail.mil to request drawings. Purpose: The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Program Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) to identify potential sources for Primer Feed Mechanism (PFM) for the M777A2 Lightweight 155mm (LW155) Howitzer. Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of PM-TAS. The PFM is an integral part of supporting the M777A2 and are critical to the operation of the M777A2. The PFM works in conjunction with the Spindle and Firing Mechanism Assembly to actuate the priming of ammunition and firing succession of the 155MM M777A2 Howitzer. The Tray works with the Body to feed the primer into the weapon's ammunition. Components of the Assembly: Body Assembly, P/N 11582662 Tray Assembly, P/N 11582661 Dog Coupler Assembly, P/N 11581695 Magazine Assembly, Two Piece Steel, P/N 11581587 The PFM system consists of one (1) Body Assembly, one (1) Tray Assembly, one (1) Dog Coupler, and three (3) Magazine Assemblies. The Technical Documentation for this procurement will be Distribution C, and Offerors will be required to fill out DD Form 2345 prior to receipt of technical data related to this sources sought. All interested vendors are requested to provide: 1. Statement of capability describing the vendor's capability to provide the PFM units, including lead times and the location where the work will be performed. 2. Rough Order Magnitude Cost to provide 120 units. 3. Rough Order Magnitude schedule to provide the 120 units. Submissions of designs that are not fully compliant with all requirements are also encouraged so that PM-TAS and RDECOM-ARDEC may assess the capabilities of all currently available sources. The Government recognizes that proprietary and/or classified data may be a part of this effort. If so, clearly mark such restricted/proprietary and classified data and present them as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary and unclassified information. As a result of this Sources Sought a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued to acquire the PFM units. Participation in this Sources Sought is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor's response are to be borne by the participating vendor.
