Description
QASP DD Form 254 RFP N62645-16-R-0038 The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC), on behalf of the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) is issuing a Request for Proposals. The proposed acquisition is to perform medical modeling and simulation research for the Department of Defense (DOD), homeland defense, humanitarian assistance, peace keeping and disaster relief activities including casualty projection, medical planning factor development, identification of weapons effects both ground and shipboard-based, projection of resource requirements, database development and maintenance, and quality of life outcomes in support of the NHRC. This acquisition will provide research and development to address the use and enhancement of The Joint Medical Analysis Tool, a software program for DOD medical planners that estimates medical resource requirements using data from the Expeditionary Medical Knowledge Warehouse and Estimating Supplies Program and permits operational risk assessments. The Government anticipates this requirement having a 60-month period of performance inclusive of planned option periods as a cost type contract. This requirement is being solicited unrestricted. However, the Government reserves the right to change the solicitation procedure. If for any reason, there are no successful proposals, the Government reserves the right to re-open the solicitation.
