Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for the FY17-20 Advance Planning of the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH). The CVN 74 RCOH Advance Planning efforts will include: material forecasting; long lead-time material procurement; purchase order development; technical document and drawing development; scheduling; resource forecasting and planning; pre-overhaul tests and inspection; and limited industrial efforts to prepare and make ready for accomplishment of the CVN 74 RCOH. The requirements will be solicited from Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, Newport News Shipbuilding, 4101 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607. This requirement will be procured, without full and open competition, from the only qualified source capable of performing a RCOH on a large deck nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
