THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following service(s) according to the statement of work below for the Fayetteville Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301: 1.Vendor shall provide all, tools, material, equipment and supervision to perform Muffler replacements on both Emergency Generators located in Bldg. #34 at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center to include the following: "Provide 2ea. New Mufflers sized to fit Caterpillar Model # LC6/ 3406 generators. "Provide scaffolding or lift as appropriate to safely access elevated work level of mufflers. "Removal of old mufflers and piping. "Install both mufflers on existing exterior sidewall steel frame mounts. Include modifications if required to accommodate new mufflers. "To include all piping from generators engine exhaust manifold flange to the new mufflers using steel welded piping including all associated gaskets and hangers. "Work must be done in 2 consecutive phases to ensure only one generator will be out of service at the time. "All work to comply with applicable VA Master Specifications. 2.Provide factory start-up and testing of both generators under load to ensure engine exhaust temperatures are within proper operating range. The NAICS 333618 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1500. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors will be required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award. Your response is required by 4:00 PM, May 11, 2016.
