- Performance Based Work Statement for Threatened/Endangered species Monitoring & Management, Kanto Plain, Japan The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and operations identified in these specifications for project, ZNREOS730816, Threatened /Endangered Species Monitoring and Management, Kanto Plain, Japan. The purpose of this Performance- Based Work Statement (PWS) is to implement the monitoring and protective management program for a raptor species and several other t hreatened /endangered species located at Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) of Yokota Air Base (AB). The purpose of this project is to enhance and promote reproduction of the targeted species through the monitoring and management. A ll the works will be conducted in accordance with Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS), applicable local laws, ordinances, regulations and guidances. Additionally, the contractor will document any other threatened and endangered species encountered during the course of this project. The contractor 's final report should include all of the contractor ' s activity records, findings and recommended management strategies for Japanese Threatened and Endangered (T/E) species.
