- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes ONLY and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This notice is strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine the interest and capabilities of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 561720 - Janitorial Services. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors are reminded that only Contracting Officers are authorized to commit the government to the obligation of funds. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be permitted. VA is seeking interested sources for a possible contract, lasting one year with 4 options for windows cleaning services for the Dallas and Bonham facilities listed in the attached draft Scope of Work (SOW). The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, equipment, materials, and any other items necessary to provide window cleaning services in accordance with the attached draft SOW. This notice may be followed by a request for proposal (RFP). All potential offerors are encouraged to submit a response. The ultimate RFP and/or the final award may be split in between the two facilities depending on the most benefit to the government. Please submit responses and any questions to Albert Merkel via email at Albert.Merkel@VA.gov, with cc to Mary Accomando at Mary.Accomando@VA.gov. Responses are to be submitted no later than May16, 2016 at 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. Company name and address. 2. Company point of contact name, telephone number, and email address. 3. Company business size and status (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, ect.), the number of years in business. 4. If the company holds a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract, please list the GSA Contract Number. 5. Capabilities/Qualifications: A short written response stating capacity to fulfill this requirement. 6. Questions, remarks regarding the attached draft SOW DISCLAIMER: This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this notice is marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. IAW FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors will not be compensated for any costs incurred as a result of responding to this Sources Sought Notice. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be permitted.
