- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) is planning to procure Capacity as a Service (CaaS). CaaS is defined as an agile, on-demand, on premise computing, networking, and storage solution for a variety of systems and applications for our Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) core infrastructures, laboratory and data center environments. In September 2015, the Government released a Request for Information (RFI) for Industry comments on the DRAFT CaaS Performance Work Statement (PWS). Since then, the Government has been revising the PWS and working on developing the other required acquisition documents comprising the complete Request For Proposals (RFP) package. The purpose of this follow-on RFI is to request Industrys comments and feedback on the completed DRAFT RFP package for further refinement.
