- Description
- A solicitation is to be released to repair all existing HVAC control systems, sensors, and VAV boxes at Building1700. Remove current vintage 1999 Integrator Control System with DDC that controls both main Air Handling Units (AHU), including the terminal units and replace with an updated version that matches the recently replaced 102-Ton Chiller Unit. New DDC Controls must communicate with existing Navy Host Energy Management Control System (EMCS). Remove & Replace all sensors and VAV boxes. Repair any ductwork damaged during VAV replacement. Test & Balance Building1700 HVAC system on both floors upon completion. The Contractor is to provide all equipment, material, and labor to perform the following scope of work to repair existing HVAC Control systems, sensors, and VAV boxes for HVAC at Building 1700 by replacing with new DDC controlled system. Project location: Building 1700, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127. In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with applicable size standard is $15 million. Tentative date of solicitation release: 24 May 2016. Estimated construction times: Sixty (60) days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Tentative closing date for Bids: 24 June 2016 at 1200 PM Central Time. In accordance with FAR 6.203 this acquisition is to be set-aside for Small Businesses. Contract type: Firm Fixed Price. All inquiries shall be via email only. No inquires via telephone.
