- Solicitation SF1449 The Army Contracting Command- Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby issues solicitation W9098S-16-T-0160 for the procurement of Filter parts in support of the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). This award is issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. All quotes must be sent electronically to the Contract Specialist at scott.w.voigt2.mil@mail.mil. Quotes will be considered valid for a period of 60 calendar days after submission by the contractor. Prices shall be submitted on an F.O.B. Destination (FAR 52.247-34) basis. Unit pricing should be in full dollars and cents. Ship to location is: TACOM-ROCK ISLAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICER BLDG 299, EAST END RECG DOOR 16A ROCK ISLAND, IL 61299-5000 On time delivery is very critical. Therefore, the contractor must adhere to the delivery requirements indicated above in the award. Failure to comply with the contractual delivery schedule after award may result in termination of the order or require consideration if the Government elects to extend the delivery. The Government is not required to extend your delivery schedule if you encounter delays. The non-availability of raw materials, subcontractor issues, scheduling conflicts, etc. are not acceptable excuses for failing to meet the delivery schedules. Early delivery is authorized, but must be approved and coordinated in advance of due date with the Contract Specialist and/or Contracting Officer designated in this contract. If there is going to be a delay in delivery, the vendor is required to notify the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer designated in this contract. The contractor shall submit tracking information with the contract number on all deliveries to the Rock Island Arsenal. The Tracking information shall be sent via email or data fax to the Contract Specialist listed on the first page of the resultant award document.
