- KIAC Draft PWS Comments KIAC Draft PWS National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has posted the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the acquisition of Kennedy Infrastructure, Applications and Communications (KIAC) support services requirement. The Government is contemplating a fixed price type of contract for this requirement. This action is to encourage and promote early exchanges of information for this requirement as a part of NASA's acquisition streamlining initiatives. This Draft PWS is not a solicitation and the Government is not requesting proposals. The Government is seeking industry comments to the KIAC Draft PWS. All comments should be submitted using the Industry Comments Form available on this notice and at the KIAC website, which can be found at https://public.ksc.nasa.gov/kiac. Prospective offerors are encouraged to identify any areas in the Draft PWS that are confusing or not clear, and may warrant additional information or clarification for the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). Comments are requested no later than 1700 Local Time on May 30, 2016, to permit the Government sufficient time for consideration. Draft PWS comments should be submitted electronically to: regina.clifton@nasa.gov. Please include NNK17ZOC001L Draft PWS Comments in the subject line of the email. For planning purposes, the Government is anticipating holding a pre-solicitation conference in August 2016, following the publication of the Draft RFP scheduled to be released in the month of July 2016. Registration details for the pre-solicitation conference will be posted on the KIAC website https://public.ksc.nasa.gov/kiac in the near future. This preliminary information is being requested for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results and no information contained in the responses will be released publically. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of prospective offerors to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
