Description
Notice for San Antonio, TX Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) VA101-16-R-0071 This is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this notice. Respondents are advised that the Government assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon this notice. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs conducted a Market Survey on April 7, 2015 in San Antonio, TX to identify qualified properties, both existing buildings and land sites, for a 190,800 Net Usable Square Foot (NUSF) Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The properties toured met the preliminary criteria of the advertisement and were located within the delineated area. The following is a list of sites that were deemed acceptable by the evaluation team and will be considered for this procurement. VA will not tour additional sites. VA is providing this information to assist Offerors in the preparation of an offer. It is the Offeror's responsibility to secure a purchase option with the site(s)'s owner and conduct due diligence. VA makes no representation as to the availability of any of the land sites listed above. A Solicitation for Offers (SFO) for the procurement of a long-term lease for a build-to-suit community-based outpatient clinic, along with a Pre-bid Conference, which will be held in San Antonio, TX, approximately 14 days after the issuance of the SFO. Specific information will be published at a later time. VA does not have an Assignable Option to Purchase with any of these properties and has not conducted due diligence on these properties. Further VA is not representing that the properties are available for purchase. One of more of these properties may have an exclusive agreement with a developer to offer the site in response to the solicitation for the CBOC. VA is providing the site location so interested developers have an understanding of what sites have been approved. Developers must contact the site owners directly for further information regarding the sites. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT and THE GOVERNMENT WILL PAY NO MORE THAN THE APPRAISED FAIR MARKET VALUE FOR LAND AND FOR RENTAL SPACE.
