- The soliciation has hereby been modified to extend the response date to allow time to post the Questions and Answers (Q&As). The Q&As will be posted shortly. Department of State, Bureau of Administration, Office of General Services Management (A/OPR/GSM), is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Professional Locksmith Services. The Government requires professional locksmith services for the installation of new locking hardware; routine, urgent, and emergency repair; as well as provide routine, reliable maintenance of locking hardware and equipment. The contractor will have available, a selective stock of locking hardware as well as associated hardware and spare parts. The Contractor shall maintain a small inventory in the Lock Shop located within HST with the remainder located at the Contractor's warehouse or business. These services are required twenty-four hours per day throughout the year, including weekends and holidays. The Contractor must provide qualified personnel to perform the services of installation and repair of locks, safes, vault doors, bar-lock cabinets and other security devices and containers. The Contractor shall provide service to all U.S. Department of State (DOS) Annexes within the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area and other DOS facilities throughout the United States (see PWS Attachment). Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the services as identified in the PWS are invited to submit responses to this RFP via email to Felicia Goudy at goudyfd@state.gov, by May 11, 2016, 6:00pm, EST. Telephone inquiries will not be entertained, accepted or acknowledged. This request for proposal is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no responsibility of any costs incurred.
