- SF_1449 Request for Proposal This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in part 12.203 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 332992, small arms ammunition manufacturing. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 13, Ammunition & Explosives. The solicitation is being posted as an amendment to the presolicitation notice. This is being solicited as an unrestricted procurement. The Government intends to award a competitive commercial fixed price type Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for small arms ammunition. The Government reserves the right to award more than one IDIQ contract if deemed necessary if no one company can provide all different types of ammunition. Contract award is intended to be made by September 30, 2016. Award will be made to the offer(s) who provides the best value to the Government. The resulting contract(s) will be for one year with four subsequent option periods. By submitting a response to this solicitation, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the offeror nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency.
