- Draft Technical Specification Draft Statement of Work To: All Interested Offerors Subject: Expression of Interest (EOI) Reference: Future Solicitation for Custom Designed and Manufactured Material Handling Equipment Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) is seeking an expression of interest from firms in relation to a contract for Custom Designed and Manufactured Material Handling Equipment. It is the intent of Brookhaven to utilize a low-bid request for quotation or best value request for proposals process for this equipment. The purpose here is to inform the Material Handling Equipment Manufacturer community of our intent and to provide qualified firms the opportunity to express their interest. Responses will be retained for record and referenced for future Requests for Quotation or Requests for Proposals. Scope of Services: It is anticipated that the Contractor will provide the following item: A custom designed and manufactured platform as described in the attached draft statement of work and draft technical specification. Instructions for Response: Please submit your expression of interest letter electronically to: ebaxter@bnl.gov. The letter should include a brief overview of your firm's capabilities and a list of recent/relevant contracts. Comments on missing information/further detail on the specification and statement of work are welcomed. All interested parties must respond by May 16, 2016. Responses received will be used for planning purposes and determining potential candidates for subsequent procurement actions, if any. Interested parties may sign up for the www.FedBizOpps.gov "Watch List" to receive automatic notification of future solicitations.
