- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit offers to Request for Proposal (RFP) HSBP1016R0029 for Handgun Night Sights for Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs & Border Protection (CBP) locations nationwide, including those in the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. HSBP1016R0029 is scheduled to be issued on, or about, May 23, 2016. This requirement will be procured as a Total Small Business Set-aside. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure replacement sights for current issued H&K and Glock handguns used by CBP Officers and Agents. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation in its entirety if price savings cannot be reasonably achieved and funding becomes un-available. The requirement will result in a single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract against which individual delivery orders will be placed. All items will be in accordance with the statement of work (SOW) and RFP that will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. The awarded contract will be for a 12 month base period with four, 12 month option periods from date of award. The estimated contract ceiling is $1,000,000.00 per period for a total of $5,000,000.00, if all option periods are exercised.
