Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound VAMC intends to solicit proposals for Boiler Repair at the American Lake VA in Washington. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA-260-16-Q-0471. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the small business size standard is $15 million. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. 3. The intended contract period is 30 days after receipt of order. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 5/10/2016, and the anticipated closing date is 5/10/2016. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (238220) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations.
