- RFP SBE20016R0004 The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the purchase of gasoline for official fleet vehicles. Your proposal must be submitted in an enclosed sealed envelope marked "Proposal Enclosed - SBE20016R0004" to the U.S. Embassy, attn: Contracting Officer, Regentlaan 27, 1000 Brussels on or before 1600 Hrs. on June 13, 2016. No proposal will be accepted after this time. Any other documentation should be mailed in a separate envelope, clearly marked as SBE20016R0004. No electronic offers will be accepted. The Work Statement and all other terms and conditions are contained in the enclosed Request for Proposal (RFP). The contract which will result from this RFP is estimated to run from August 1, 2016 thru July 31, 2017, with four one-year options, pending availability of funds. In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: 1.SF-1449 (page 1 of RFP) Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (blocks 12 thru 26, as appropriate, and blocks 30a, 30b and 30c. 2.Section 1, Pricing Schedule. 3.Section 5. Representations And Certifications. 4.Addendum to Offeror Representations and Certifications - Defense Base Act- Covered Contractor Employees, 652.228-70. 5.Additional information as required in Section 3. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. This solicitation will also be issued on the Embassy's website at http://belgium.usembassy.gov/contract_opportunities.html. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
