Description
This is a Market Survey to locate sources of supply for the ON-505, Switch/Multiplexer Unit (SMU) components. The Government plans to issue a spot-buy for the items listed below. The list of items are as follows: NSN Description UID (Y/N) 5998-01-534-0374 CCA, P/N 06-2792621-100 N 5998-01-433-7019 CCA, P/N 06-1414139-5 Y 5998-01-396-0365 CCA, P/N 06-1411808-1 N 5998-01-474-8343 CCA, P/N 06-1420152-2 Y Detailed technical data such as engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures for manufacture and acceptance of these units are NOT available from the Army. The Technical Data Packages for these items are proprietary to General Dynamics C4 Systems. Interested sources that are capable of furnishing these items must send a response describing in detail their ability in meeting the Government requirements. Response shall be submitted in writing through email to U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRC-CM, Tony Lui at tony.c.lui.civ@mail.mil. The response MUST include documentation to demonstrate the interested sources' capability of supplying these items, and copy of purchasing order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply these items that will be form, fit and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the existing ON-505 SMU. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and that will be delivered on time. Pertinent information received from this market survey will be evaluated by the Government technical personnel for the purpose of planning. The Government will not reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice for any information received and any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. Deadline for receipt of proposals is close of business 26 May 2016.
