- Attachment 2.1 Guard Rail and Charger Location. Updated Attachment 1 (Updated 13 May, 2016) Conformed RFQ FA5270-16-Q-A037 Amendment 1: Minimum specifications for Turret Truck are changed. Please replace Attachment 1 with Updated Attachment 1 (updated 13 May, 2016). Guard Rails and Charger Dock location are specified in Attachment 2.1 Guard Rail and Charger Dock Location. Please find the conformed RFQ. This conformed RFQ replaces the original RFQ. Q & A: Q1: What is the height for the guard rail and its thickness? A1: Guard rail height is 125mm with thickness no less than 13mm (1/2") Q2: The Attachment 2 shows the guard rails to be installed on the side of racks where it is too narrow for Turret Trucks. Can you specify where guard rails are required? A2: The Guard rails and Charger are to be installed at the designated location in accordance with Attachment 2.1 -Guard Rail and Charger Dock Location Q3: How high from the ground level the side rollers located on the Turret Trucks you are looking for? A3: Turret Truck side rollers should be located somewhere around 70mm in height (from grounding level) so that the rollers hit about the center of the guard rail. Q4: Is the forklift man-up model where operater needs to go up and down with the staking pallet?? A4: No, the turret truck does not have to be a man-up model. Supplemental information: Each turret truck should not weigh more than 6,000KG because the elevator weight cap is up to 6,500 KG. Length of grounding bolts should be enough to support the guard rails, but no more than 10 inches due to multiple auxiliary beams running under neath of the concrete floor.
