Source Sought EAL RQ4 Spec Sheet Statement of Need REQUEST FOR SOURCES RQ4 Maintenance Stands Beale Air Force Base, California THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The 9th Contracting Squadron located at Beale Air Force Base, California, 95903, is seeking information about qualified sources to provide non-personal services including all labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to provide modular, fabricated maintenance stands for the RQ4 platform at Beale AFB, CA 95903. Please see the attached DRAFT version Statement of Need (SON) for further description of the requirement. Changes may be made to the SON in any resulting Request for Quote. Please provide any questions, remarks, or requests for alteration of SON. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify the industry of the USAF intent for contract action and to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, service-disabled veteran, etc.) This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332312 -- Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing. The Standard Industry Code for this procurement is 3441. The small business size standard for this procurement, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Please provide any suggestions or requests if you feel a more appropriate NAICS code exists. The proposed contract action is anticipated to be issued as a firm-fixed price award. A site visit will be held on 6 June 2016. Interested parties will need to fill out the attached entry access list document and submit no later than 27 May 2016.
