- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking sources capable of performing the requirements necessary to complete the work described in this notice. The Government is interested in responses from any entity, but is especially interested in Small Businesses. This notice is for informational purposes only. It is not a request for proposals, and it does not obligate the government in any way. The Government will not reimburse the respondents for any costs associated with the information submitted in response to this request. ---------------------------------------------------------- NOAA has an upcoming requirement for Physical Access Control System (PACS) and Closed Circuit Television Replacement (CCTV) in Alaska. • Scope : Field verify existing conditions of PACS & CCTV systems. Design, furnish, install, test, verify and certify replacement PACS and CCTV. Perform preventive maintenance, repair and other service for PACS and CCTV. • Period of Performance : base year for PACS & CCTV replacement and four option years for preventive maintenance, repair and other service. • Technical details : - PACS utilizing the Software House C-CURE 9000 system, approximately 30 card readers - Color, day/night, digital CCTV system, approximately 30 cameras • Specifications : GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program Approved Products List: PACS shall consist only of products and services from the GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program Approved Products List. All PACS products and services shall conform to FIPS 201 Evaluation Program Requirements. See the following URL for an updated list of approved products: https://www.idmanagement.gov/IDM/IDMFicamProductSearchPage • Emergency Service Requirement : Provide callback within 30 minutes and on-site response within one hour of Government request. Continue on-site response, providing temporary repair if necessary, until danger or interruption of critical operations is removed or departure is authorized. Emergency service must be available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. ---------------------------------------------------------- Please respond to the following questions (please limit to 1 page): 1. Can your firm perform the work described in the scope on-site in Fairbanks, Alaska? 2. Has your firm conducted similar work in Alaska? 3. Is your firm a small business concern? If yes, what type of small business concern? 4. Do you have an active registration in System for Award Management (SAM)? Under what DUNS number and company name? 5. Will all PACS products conform to GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program Requirements? 6. What NAICS codes do think is most suitable for this procurement? 7. Can you provide the annual maintenance/repair work as well as the on-site emergency service? 8. If this award is set aside for a small business, and if you will be using a sub-contractor for any of the work, will you be able to comply with FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting? This annual work and emergency service is not likely to exceed 1/4 of the total award. ----------------------------------------------------------- The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for this notice is 561621. However, the final request for proposal and resultant contract(s) may be assigned a different NAICS code. All firms responding should state their status for the appropriate NAICS codes. The NAICS codes cited in the RFI are for internal business size stratification purposes only. Vendor responses should identify a point of contact including the representative's name, company, email address, mailing address and telephone number both in an email and within the body of the submitted document. You may, if desired, submit corporate qualifications or examples of similar projects with your submission. However, please keep these to a minimum as they will not affect any award decision. As a reminder, this is a Sources Sought Notice only, evaluation letters will not be issued to any respondent, nor will the Government pay for any costs incurred for responses submitted.
