Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION notice of intent. The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) intends to issue a solicitation for preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections annually for one (1) support VA owned/installed Medtronic Cryocalth Cryoablation System located at the Tucson VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) in Tucson, AZ. Release of the solicitation is estimated within 5 days of this posting. This is NOT a request for proposals, is NOT an authorization to begin work, and does NOT commit the Government to purchase any services. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of any responses to this notice. The PVAHCS is seeking a qualified contractor that can provide preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs and inspections for one (1) ) support VA owned/installed Medtronic Cryocalth Cryoablation System located at the Tucson VA Health Care All maintenance and repair on included equipment shall conform to the latest editions/standards of the following: NFPA 99, OSHA, CDRH, and the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) specifications. Coverage for all systems shall include contractor furnished material, labor, equipment, tools, OEM parts, and supervision necessary to execute PM maintenance inspections, and 24/7 emergency call back service. Additionally, the contractor shall be able to provide quotes for any materials and/or labor required for repairs identified through PM or service calls which fall outside the scope of work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 and any resulting solicitation will be an unrestricted Set-Aside. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments upon their posting to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov; the solicitation number will be VA258-16-Q-0373. It is the contractors' responsibility to monitor the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE) for the solicitation release and any/all subsequent amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote in response to the solicitation when it is released. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed-Price Award based on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Point of Contact for this action is Ms. Michele Lodge, michele.lodge@va.gov. Contractors shall not contact any other Government personnel regarding this notice. Contacting any Government personnel other than the individual designated above may result in an organizational conflict of interest (OCI) and may result in a contractor being excluded from the competition and consideration for award.
