Description
Sources Sought Gas Line Training THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Air Force is seeking sources to provide Training on Natural and Other Gas by Pipeline at Nellis AFB and/or provide Online Training Capabilities on the subparts in Title 49, Subtitle B, Chapter l, Subchapter D, Part 192. The Subparts are as follows: a. General b. Materials c. Pipe Design d. Design of Pipeline Components e. Welding of Steel in Pipelines f. Joining of Materials other Than by Welding g. General Construction Requirements for Transmission Lines and Mains h. Customer Meters, Service, Regulators, and Service Lines i. Requirements for Corrosion Control j. Test Requirements k. Uprating l. Operations m. Maintenance n. Qualifications of Pipeline Personnel o. Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management Note: This list of categories is directly from the CFR Subchapter 192. (http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/retrieveECFR?gp=&SID=9ba793a06e250db5890a19dec0a3d953&mc=true&n=pt49.3.192&r=PART&ty=HTML#sp49.3.192.a). It is understood that certain training may fall into different subchapters which is acceptable as long as the Contractor identifies such at time of proposal and can meet such training requirement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information on any and all qualified and experienced companies capable of providing the afore mention training. No set-a-side has been established at this time and it is recommended that all interested parties respond to this notice. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all training materials, equipment, and personnel as applicable to provide the aforementioned training. Although still under consideration, this is a onetime request for training of 20-25 individuals. Request interested firms respond to this notice and provide the following: (a) FIRM'S INFORMATION [name, address, phone number, CAGE code]; (b) STATUS [e.g., HUBZone-certified small business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business, small business, large business, etc.]; (c) CAPABILITY STATEMENT: Interested contractors must provide their companies capabilities in providing the aforementioned training This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, or pay for any proposal preparation costs.
