The existing units are anchored to thefloor, but are free standing as not to tie off to the existing steelstructure. Is the current requirement the same? ANSWER: The requirement is the same and clarified in the updated SOW QUESTION 2: Part I, Item (10) Please confirm that government is removing the lifts and all connecting utilities, in full. ANSWER: This is confirmed and clarified in the updated SOW. QUESTION 3: Will there be a staging area available for material during the installation? ANSWER: A staging area will be provided in building 9001. QUESTION 4: Can you please clarify; does this indicate a working load rating of 3000 lbs, or an engineered proof load rating of 3000 lbs? As required by OSHA, a platform such as this is to be engineered to a 4X factor of the working load rating. If that WLR is 3000 pounds, the proof load would be 12,000 pounds. Is this correct, or does your 3000 pound value include the safety factor? ANSWER: Yes, in those terms the 3000 pounds would be the working load rating.
