Description

This solicitation is amended to respond to questions presented by vendors. The hour and date specified for receipt of quotes is not extended; it remains May 27, 2016, no later than 1:00 p.m. EST. 1. How will the damper repairs be billed under this contract? Will there be a line item added to the contract for Not to Exceed for repairs? Will the NTE number be provided by the government? A: We will use CLIN 0002 and Sub-CLINs, Repairs and installation as needed. There are line items (Sub-CLINs) added already; NSP. If there are any repairs or installations needed, the contractor will provide us with an estimate. If we agree on terms and price, a task order will be issued against the respective Sub-CLIN (0002AA, 0002AB or 0002AC) and work will start for that specific repairs/installation. The intent is, as much as possible, to repair/install as the inspection is ongoing so we won't have to wait until the end of the inspection to go back to that specific location and do any additional work. There might be more than one task order issued against those Sub-CLINs. 2. Will the VA provide a copy of the Life Safety Drawings to the awarded contractor? A: Yes. 3. How will the installation of access doors be billed under this contract? A: See answer to #1 above. 4. Can you please confirm that all work will be performed after normal hours? A: Yes, work to be performed M-F after 4:30 p.m. On weekends, any time after prior coordination. No work on observed federal holidays.
