- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires delivery of packaged, pre-manufactured, self-consolidating concrete mix (SSC). The pre-manufactured self-consolidating concrete (SCC) shall be a one-component, cementitious, silica fume and polymer-modified, self-consolidating concrete containing factory blended coarse aggregates. This structural repair material shall be capable of being used as a full depth repair and being placed or pumped into formed vertical surfaces. The pre-manufactured SSC mix shall meet all material properties specifications in the solicitation. The material shall be delivered in sealed bags of standard volume, identical or equivalent to the type and size furnished to the commercial marketplace. Packaging shall be in good condition at time of delivery, without major holes or tears in the bags that expose the concrete mix to air or moisture. It is preferred, but not required, that the SSC mix be palletized for delivery, with each pallet containing bags equivalent to 1 CY of mix. Delivery will be to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lac Qui Parle Field Office. The solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for an initial delivery of one cubic yard (1 CY) of dry, packaged, SSC mix, with options for up to three (3) additional deliveries, with the total delivery estimated at no more than fifteen cubic yards (15 CY). Quote pricing shall include all costs associated with the manufacture, packaging, transportation and delivery of the packaged SSC mix. Prices shall be quoted FOB destination. The initial delivery (1 CY) shall be made no later than August 1, 2016. Options for additional deliveries may be exercised at the Government's discretion, at any time prior to November 15, 2016, with delivery completion no later than December 1, 2016. The government shall notify the contractor a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the required delivery dates. Deliveries will be made to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District Lac Qui Parle Field Office 9055 1st Street West Watson, MN 56295-0177 Deliveries will be made during normal business hours to a level, truck accessible site, designated by the on-site Point of Contact. This location does not have a delivery dock or a forklift available. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel will not assist with the off-loading. Contractor is responsible for providing all materials handling equipment and labor required for delivery. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS for this procurement is 327999. The size standard for this NAICS is 500 Employees.
