- 1. NOTICE: this is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1: The purpose of this sources sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541380 which has a corresponding size standard of $15.0 M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubsone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interest parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the idnetified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a discription of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The contractor shall perform fatigue testing on provided flame spray coated bars, per AFDWG 200925098, for the 532nd Commodities Maintenance Support Squadron (532 CMMXS). The Contractor shall provide the Government with a test report per AFDWG 200925098. The Government will provide the contractor with sets of three (3) testing bars. The contractor shall perform the testing per AFDWG 200925098, and retain the chain of custody for the provided batch of testing bars. The contractor shall return all of the tested bars with the associated test report of each bar to the Government. The contractor shall perform the test within one week of receiving the bars. Upon completion of the tests, the contractor shall provide an electronic test report to the Government. The contractor shall return the tested bars within two weeks of the performed testing with a hard copy of the stated test report. The bars shall be returned in the original box by which they arrived. If the box is damaged or unusable for any reason the contractor shall contact the government for further direction by e-mail or phone call. In the event of a bar failing outside of the parameters of the drawing, AFDWG 200925098, the contractor shall halt any further testing of the batch immediately, contact the Government, by e-mail and phone call, to obtain direction whether the Government wishes to have any further tests done on the remainder of the batch.
