Description

I.MARKET SUVEY ANNOUNCEMENT 1.The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western Logistics Service Area intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price for the design, fabricate, and delivery of two (2) thirty (30) feet self-supporting antenna towers as required in the Description / Specifications / Scope of Work including all attachments. Scope - This specification sets forth requirements for the following: Design and fabrication of two (2) new 30-foot self-supporting eight-arm communication antenna towers. Design of reinforced concrete foundation for the towers. Design of Tower based on TIA-222-G. Provide a rigid (type I) safety climbing device, including all required brackets, guides and clamps. 2.The FAA is conducting this Market Survey to improve the Government ™s understanding of the current marketplace and to identify qualified capable sources. 3.The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, responses to this market survey will be used to determine if adequate competition exists to set the requirement a-side for certified Small Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) / 8(a) program, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Small Businesses in lieu of opening the acquisition up for full and open competition. 4.All interested vendors are advised that the FAA would not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey. Therefore, any costs associated with vendor ™s market survey submissions will be solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. 5.All interested vendors are advised to note the minimum requirements stated in the Description / Specifications / Scope of Work when responding to this survey. 6.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code projected for this procurement and applicable size standard in dollars/number of employees is 237130 “ Communication Antenna and $36.5 million II. SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of resultant contract is to procure two new antennas as required in the Description / Specifications / Scope of Work to replace the existing antennas at the CDCB (RCAG) facility, Cedar City, Utah. III. RESPONSES TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Responses must be limited to ten (10) pages. The Business Declaration Form does not count towards the page count. (c)Project size and type similar in magnitude and complexity. (d)Number of Projects as Prime Contractor (e)Percentages of work Subcontracted (if any) (f)Contract Dollar Values (g)Type of services provided by your firm, include NAICS Code (h)Number of years in business (i)Any other pertinent information Please submit responses to the market survey by close of business (4:00pm, PST) May 25, 2016.
